How did you begin playing soccer?
"When I was younger I decided to give soccer a try. I chose to play soccer because I enjoyed the competition and challenge that soccer gave me."

What is the atmosphere like on the team?
"I really like this year's team. Ever since I was a freshman we always had in-fighting going on. That made practice and games, especially losing ones, pretty rough. Aside from some freshman bashing, this team gets along a lot better than any of the previous teams. The freshmen seem to fit in really well and everyone is supportive of one another. We act a lot like a family because we encourage and talk to each other."

What were your goals coming in and do you think you will accomplished them?
"I wanted to score more or at least score more consistantly. So I've scored about a goal a game and am 5 goals away from reaching my goal of 14. I'll get there by post season. I also wanted this team to get along better and they have."

How is the season going so far for you individually and for the team?
"Individually, I'm getting more and more pleased with the season. I was feeling pretty bad about not scoring enough. But now, I'm scoring more consistantly and that's making me feel a lot more confident. I think the team is doing well. We opened up with 6 wins and that's no small thing. The rest of the season we're going to be facing teams over again so we'll know what to expect from them. Plus, I think that we can beat all of the teams coming up. We just have to get by Chelmsford."

What do you admire most about Coach Currie and where do you see the Dracut Girls Soccer program heading in the near future?
"The thing that I admire about Coach Currie is his determination and confidence in us. When we are down, he will motivate us and put our minds right back in the game. I see Dracut' program going very far."

Who on the team do you admired the most for what she does on the team and off the field?
"I really admire everyone person on the team. There are a lot of good kids on our team that do things around school and town."

What are your plans after high school?
"I want to go to college for graphic design/illustration. Then I'll probably try to get a job making advertisments appealing to the eye or designing logos. I'd really like to illustrate books but that might not be as lucrative. Then, I'd like to have a nice house, family, and stuff like that."

How did you spend last summer?
"Since I'm going to school for art, I need a portfolio. So, I did a lot of drawing and painting. I played summer soccer, worked at Dunkin's, and went up north. I also had to do all those summer projects for school. When I wasn't doing any of that, I went swimming at Long Pond with my friends. "

You seem to have a good relationship with your family is that important to you and how does that relate to how you play on the field?
"I love my family, even my younger sister. They're awesome and give me a lot of moral support. When I was feeling bad about not scoring, my mom and dad helped me stick with it. My family definately helps me play better on the field."
