Fontaine Tabbed First Team Eastern Mass

Dracut's senior forward Jen Fontaine has been named to the Eastern Massachusetts Division II girls soccer first team as an All Star announced Sunday. Fontaine will play in the all-star game on Sunday, November 18 at Boston University.

"This is a great opportunity for Jen because she will be competing with All-American players and players who were highly recruited", said Head Coach Wayne Currie.

Fontaine was a Merrimack Valley Conference All Conference selected a year ago and narrowly miss out as an EMass all star.

Fontaine paced Dracut in scoring this season with 16 goals, 12 assist and 28 total points. She had five game winning goals this year. Fontaine holds the school's record for most goals scored in a season and most goals scored in a career with 48.

Dracut was 8-6-5 this season and qualified for the State Tournament, where it fell to top seed Dnavers, 4-0.
